Building Bridges Between Small Businesses and NASA

The GSFC Small Business Council (SBC) is an organization focused on strengthening the Small Business industrial base and enhancing capabilities across GSFC contracts. The SBC collaborates with, and complements the GSFC Small Business Office and supports the broader goals of the NASA Office of Small Business Programs to increase Small Business participation across NASA contracts.

To establish an environment for small businesses at GSFC that:

• Promotes and nurtures an effective exchange of best practices, lessons learned, and supplier resource sharing
• Heightens awareness of NASA socioeconomic programs and objectives
• Increases prime contracting and subcontracting opportunities for small businesses at GSFC

To promote the collaborative exchange of best practices among GSFC contractors, and to empower and encourage opportunities, and build the capacity of small business’ capabilities across GSFC’s disciplines.
